Journalism

Currently I mainly write for the Suffolk branch of publishing company Archant, which produces the East Anglian Daily Times, the Bury Mercury, Suffolk magazine and many other publications. I work with the Editorial Projects Unit writing features on a number of subjects that range from restaurant reviews to conservation articles and fashion features to business profiles.
My other freelance work includes factual articles, personality features, reviews, travel pieces and more. I have particular experience in the craft industry, having worked at Aceville Publications as an Editorial Assistant on craft titles Sew and Make & Sell Jewellery.

Copywriting

I write web content, press releases, product descriptions and more for a number of companies and am experienced in SEO writing. Clients include children's clothing company Kidsen and SEO company I Need Links.

Proofreading

I am an experienced proofreader, having gained experience in various editorial positions. I have a certificate in 
Basic Proofreading from The Publishing Training Centre and knowledge of British Standards Institution symbols.

Fiction

I have a number of short stories published both in print and online, including a piece of flash fiction in the 2009 Earlyworks Press Anthology. I am currently seeking representation for a children's book for ages 7-9.
